Yesterday PhoMedics staff decided to leave the lab and put on our running shoes in favor of the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Society's (HKBCF) PINK Together campaign. The campaign continues throughout October and aims to create public awareness of breast cancer and raise money for the organization's important work for many people in need. Together, we ran 12 kilometers, highlighting that 12 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in Hong Kong every day. 

 

As a small startup, we work around a strict budget and with limited financial resources. Still, we want to pay tribute to the great work done by organizations like HKBCF and raise money for their cause. At PhoMedics, we are also trying to contribute by developing the next generation of breast cancer treatment. We hope that we also can make an impact and change the way things are. Until then, let's run together for a Pink October.
